A Class III cabinet is defined as a totally enclosed, ventilated cabinet with leak-tight construction it is also called glove boxes. The cabinet is maintained under negative pressure and supply air is drawn in through HEPA filters. A supply of HEPA filtered air provides product protection and prevents cross contamination of samples while exhaust air is HEPA-filtered and incinerated.
