CURING TANK

The tank has been designed to accommodate casted cubes and fully insulated, complete with a hinged lid, heater, thermostat and recirculation pump. Provision of two removable racks allowing free circulation of water around each cube. Note: Size are also customized The tank has been designed to accommodate cube moulds and fully insulated, complete with a hinged lid, heater, thermostat and re-circulated pump. Provision of two removable racks allowing free circulation of water around each mould. The pump, drain valves and electrical equipment are housed in a compartment located at one end of the tank. The Tank is heated by a immersion heater under normal conditions and refrigeration system for grey cement the temperature is controlled at 27°C ± 1°C and expect for the 15 minutes after immersion of the freshly made specimens. As per comply IS 269 & IS 516 (Methods of tests for Strength of Concrete) after the period of 24 hours, specimens of Cubes, cylinders, beams etc. shall be marked for later identification, removed from the moulds and, unless required for 24 hours. Records of the daily max. & Min. temperature shall be kept both during the period of specimen remain on the site and in the laboratory.
