The apparatus is suitable for testing of Dissolution rate of tablet and capsule, it consists of main transparent acrylic tank housing. Thermostatically/ Digitally controlled immersion heater, drain cock and transparent hemispherical unbreakable vessel. The base unit is made of chemical resistant powder coated sturdy frame housing, Control panel which includes Electronic regulator and thermostat. The unit is equipped with acrylic water bath controlled by digital temperature controller which is normally set at 37ºC and duly fitted with pump which recirculates the water thus maintaining homogeneous temperature. The acrylic water bath is with digital timer can be set ranging from 1 to 999 minutes add it “BEEPS” at the end of the set time. The unit is equipped with Digital setting of RPM as an optional which can be controlled from 25 to 150 RPM.
